Sheridan Watson, joins the Say It 2 My Face campaign’s generational fight against cyberbullying. (Los Angeles): This week, Sheridan Watson (21), winner of Tyra Banks’Fiercely Real Teen Model Search, took a stand against cyberbullying by taking the Say It 2 My Face campaign pledge and signature campaign photo. Growing up as a teen plus size model, Sheridan knows first hand the detrimental effects of cyberbullying, and understands the need to challenge it. She joins the campaign’s efforts to influence others to use online harassment as fuel for their passion, Sheridan’s passion being modeling. Say It 2 My Face is a campaign against cyber bullying and a protest against the use of anonymity on the Internet for detrimental purposes. The Say It 2 My Face campaign gets it. We have grown up in the same harsh environment as cyberbullying victims, struggling as the first generation to define ourselves both offline and online. We have witnessed and experienced first hand the detrimental effects that result from misuse of the Internet. Through photography, pledge bracelets, and videos, Say It 2 My Face encourages victims to express their stance against cyberbullying. Furthermore, the campaign urges cyberbullying victims to channel online harassment into fuel for their passion as a way to overcome cyberbullying.
